Slightly tongue in cheek, but wouldn’t the white car be liable in the UK for driving into oncoming traffic? He’s in the right hand lane, and assuming it’s a bidirectional single carriageway, that’s for vehicles going in the other direction

Doesn't it change anything that the police car was already in the junction when it was hit? It seems like a junction with pretty good visibility, so it seems reasonable for the police car to assume the white car is going to give way. The white car should be held liable for failing to give way to a priority vehicle imo anyway, especially bc they seem to be going at the same speed

Does this also apply if they’re blue light trained? Just from CCTV it looks like the white car had more time than the emergency vehicle
