Mango Firni ! @Heerafood AD! Sweeten your day with this vibrant mango firni! The combo of saffron, almond, and mango is simply divine. Topped with fresh fruits and nuts, it’s not just a dessert; it’s an experience! Ingredients: - Milk: 1 liter (full-fat for creamier texture) - Heera Saffron and Almond Firni Mix: As per package instructions (typically around 150g ) - Heera Mango Pulp: 100g - Fresh Mango Cubes: For garnish (1 small-sized mango should suffice) - Almonds: Sliced or chopped, for garnish (about 1 tablespoons) - Pistachios: Chopped, for garnish (about 1 tablespoons) - Edible Dried Rose Petals: For garnish (a handful, optional) Instructions: - Begin by soaking the clay bowls in water for about 15-20 minutes. This helps to keep them from cracking when hot firni is poured in. After soaking, remove them from the water and let them dry completely. - In a large pot, pour in the 1 liter of whole milk. Place the pot on medium heat and allow the milk to warm up slowly. Stir occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom. - Once the milk is just about to boil (you'll see small bubbles forming), lower the heat slightly. Gradually add the Heera saffron and almond firni mix to the milk while stirring continuously. This prevents lumps from forming. - Continue to cook the mixture on low to medium heat, stirring frequently, until it thickens. This process may take around 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye on the consistency; you want it to be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. - At this point, add a few strands of saffron to the mixture for extra flavor and a beautiful golden color. Stir well to ensure the saffron is evenly distributed. - Once the firni has reached your desired thickness, add the Heera mango puree to the pot. Stir well to combine all the ingredients, and let it cook for another 8-10 minutes on low heat. This allows the flavors to meld together. - Once cooked, remove the pot from the heat and allow the firni to cool down slightly. Pour the firni into the prepared clay bowls, filling them generously. - Cover the bowls with plastic wrap or lids and refrigerate them for at least 2-3 hours, or until completely chilled. This will enhance the flavors and the firni will set perfectly. - Before serving, remove the firni from the refrigerator. Top each bowl with fresh mango cubes, a sprinkle of sliced almonds and chopped pistachios, and a few edible dried rose petals for a beautiful presentation. - Serve the firni directly in the clay bowls for an authentic touch. Enjoy! #firni #kheer
