But we’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels - and these 9 free perks have come in clutch again and again. Here’s what to ask for at your next hotel (they usually won’t offer unless you do): 🛏 1. Different pillows or blankets Hate flat pillows or itchy blankets? Most hotels offer firm, soft, hypoallergenic, or even memory foam pillows on request. 🍱 2. Mini fridge No fridge in your room? Ask. Especially if you’ve got leftovers, medication, or anything you need cold. They’ll often send one up at no charge. 🔌 3. Extra chargers or adapters Forgot your phone charger? Have the wrong country converter? Most front desks have a whole bin of cables and international adapters they’ll loan out for free. 🪥 4. Forgotten toiletries Toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, razor, nail file - you name it. They’re almost always stocked behind the desk. ☔️ 5.
