if you’re not doing anything crazy and just checking email, searching the web, content consumption, it’s fine. If you’re doing hardcore Video editing or coding or something more serious then a laptop would be better.

Nah MacBook is the way to go. I got an iPad as well for note taking in college and I can’t imagine using it as a laptop because it dies sooo fast
