@haribeavis: Sticky Maple and Mustard Gammon ready to feed the Whole family for a week at just a fraction of what you see in the supermarkets !🩷 Ingredients • 750g unsmoked gammon joint (boneless) • 2 heaped tsp Dijon Mustard • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup Method 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C 2. Place the gammon on your dish and cover in tin foil (add a splash of water or stock to the base if you want but for a small joint being cooked this quick it shouldn’t need it) 3. Roast for 1 hour. 4. Remove from the oven, remove foil and smother in the mustard and maple syrup. Cook for a further 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and slice, and Tupperware! Perfect for sandwiches, omelettes, salads, soups, pastas or just simple snacking !
Do you not need to boil the salt out first??? I was always told to boil it first. Becuase that takes so long, that’s why I don’t do it often

I liked having gammon at Christmas occasionally when I was living in the UK...I'm back in New Zealand now and unfortunately, gammon isn't done over here. 😢

I always soak for as long as possible, boil for an hour, cover in whole grain mustard and honey then in the oven for 20 minutes. Slice and soak it in the gooey stuff in the pan 🤤
