I would have assumed this to be the case. Being that the 4 key elements of a contract need to be satisfied, I’m glad to see that the law is consistent despite the means in which these elements are met. I think it’s safe to say that despite the method of communication, the law remains very clear on what a contract is. Unfortunately, I believe it is peoples ignorance that finds them in legal dispute, especially when they believe that there needs to be special conditions outside of the key elements for forming a contracts. Education on people’s legal position needs to be stressed.
