THANK YOU. Their relationship was so toxic. She was deeply insecure and codependent. He was an abusive, addicted user. The fact that he eventually aged out of most of his chaos and she stayed long enough to outlive him is a damn miracle, not idyllic or inspirational.

Ozzy was an addict and unwell. He got clean. They survived it. They grew. Don’t take Sharron’s agency from her she made the decision to stay if he got sober. Addiction is not who a person is. She even says that.

YES. Like just because they were married for 40 something years doesn’t mean anything. He had affairs on top of being abusive. I was just ranting to my mom about this lol like yeah his music was great but people need to stop romanticizing their relationship. I swear she had Stockholm syndrome.

My mom told me a lot. He was an addict and would have become nothing without his wife. She chose to stay despite the violence. That wasn’t mentioned when they started their tv show.
