I love this!!! I feel inundated by anti school content / pro homeschool and I’m a sahm so I feel like I’m “supposed to” keep them home with me but that isn’t even what they want 😭

I hate the double standard people have for mothers and fathers. My husband gets so much praise when he takes our daughter out by himself while I get looks when she throws a fit in the middle of Walmart

I felt so much guilt that I took a year off and stayed home. But the guilt of receiving two masters degrees, not using them, and giving pieces of my self away was WAY WORSE. So I went back & my kids rather be at daycare and school & aftercare with friends anyways 😩

“Other people told me I was supposed to feel guilty” - THIS!!!!! I don’t feel guilt whatsoever. I love my job, I’m proud of my education and career accomplishments. I’m a MUCH better mom because of the vast dynamics that make up who I am.

Daycare was so fun!! Especially as a kid who didn’t always get along with my parents. Kids get to meet other new kids and play in a way that they just can’t at home

No one has made me feel guilty but I just naturally do. Having only 3 hours after school before bedtime 5 days a week feels wrong. 😭

Moms seem to be shamed no matter what. I’ve been a sahm for years cuz we have a handicap child that no daycare would take so I stayed home. Things are stable now all of them in school and I decided to go back to school in the evenings and I’m shamed for leaving my kids with my working husband and how dare I expect him to work and take care of the kids. During the day I make sure house is clean, all is done and supper is taken care of before i leave to make it easy for him

Everybody does whats good for them.. i worked soo much for 17 years that now i want to stay at home with my only one boy until he is 3 years old, i dont want anybody to be with him instead of me..
