I had a hairstylist who moved her studio into her home because she couldn’t deal with the other hairstylists in her suite constantly coming by trying to talk to her while she was with clients. Once when she was doing my hair another stylist opened her door, came in, grabbed a snack, sat down and started talking. I’d asked for a silent appointment because I had a lot going on and just needed the quiet and after being told this was a silent appointment, she said “it’s okay she doesn’t have to talk to us.” My stylist basically had to push her out.

I have a barber in my building that literally wants to talk to me every time he goes to the bathroom and I hate it. I would keep the door closed but it’s gets hot AF in my room. I kind of want to tell him to leave me alone 😅

at my suite people use to just open my door and there was no way of locking my door from the inside 😭

im 3rd month into the suite life and this has happened a few times for me. I have to keep my door open for flow, no outside window. I've had the next client come in mid appt and sit in the room while I was actively in the middle of an apt, that threw me for a sec.

I just close & lock my door. If idk you no entry. But i leave it open slightly bc it gets hot (and i have a fan) but everyone knocks bc it’s respectful, just like going to someone’s house you KNOCK on the door.
