I feel like there’s an old school mentality of trying to save the company money. They saved the company a couple dollars for another bolt. The thing that’s been driving me nuts lately is the number of times I come across a copper over aluminum connection. They always fail at some point.

Meh doesn’t seem like that big a deal, not the ideal construction from back in the day but sawzall it off bolt on ur new bracket and be on the road 🤷🏻♂️

Man we had a generation that would pin the bells in the end of underslung switches. I wish I had some pictures of that. Talk about major screwage when the switch goes bad.
