@carebycara: Are you aware of the ingredients in your bottled lemon juice? Skip lemon juice from concentrate with added ingredients like preservatives (such as sodium benzoate) and added sulfites. Instead, try a lemon juice made just from lemons. This option from Santa Cruz is made with only organic lemon juice and not from concentrate. For the freshest and most cost-effective option, try squeezing lemons yourself. 🍋 Lemon juice from concentrate means the juice was extracted from lemons, then heated to remove the water (concentrated), which makes it easier to store and transport. Later, water is added back in before bottling. During this process, some flavor and nutrients can be lost, and preservatives like sodium benzoate or sulfites are often added to extend shelf life. In contrast, not from concentrate lemon juice is typically just juice squeezed from fresh lemons and bottled without the concentration and reconstitution process. It’s fresher in taste and has no additives. • • • • • • • • • • • • #carebycara #cleanswap #healthandwellness #ingredientsmatter #cleaneating #healthconscious #healthtip #realfood #healthylifestyle #healthconscious #lemonjuice #lemon #realfood #groceryshopping #betterchoice #toxinremoval

Genuinely curious... What exactly are your credentials?

Brittany 💕 :

The added ingredients are literally to keep bacteria from growing… so unless you use the lemon juice in a week, I’d buy the one that won’t spoil. Plus the cost is astronomical… one is $4 the other is 99cents to $2… I’ll stick with the preservatives, that won’t hurt you.
