I’m glad they are okay. I know it may have seemed playful. But for children especially young ones activities like these can cause trauma in the brain and some kids pass away from being shaken or moved too fast.

Based on what I learned in Anatomy this summer !! In our inner ear we have a membranous labyrinth that contains endolymph, and semi-circular ducts where we can find sensory receptors (These all detect head movements for us to maintain balance) When she started to spin the endolymph lagged behind due to inertia causing her cupula to bend in the opposite direction of rotation, it eventually catches up. But when you stopped her, the endolymph now bends in the direction she was just spinning & causes the cupula to follow suit. This process is basically what causes us to feel dizzy and we observe it through the vestibulo-ocular reflex (aka the fast and slow movement of her eyes)
