E85 is indeed a “dirty” fuel. The upside, is a cheap, high octane fuel.

I run ethanol free in all my quads and small motor specially the ones that sit for a long time. Th ethanol fuel will eat cheap metals that carbs are made from in mowers and motorcycles

only downsides to ethanol free is cost and its usually only 85 octane at the pump, definitely not 93

Really? I get changing the oil more often but, E85 is great for power. I get at least 31whp over 87 octane, cools the engines more than pump gas.

Here in the Rockford area e85 is almost 1$ cheaper than 87. I run lawn service 5 days a week and run all week on e85. I don’t loose much mileage. Am I still ok changing oil every 3k?

The ethanol free stuff that is more money now..is the normal stuff we had at the pumps before the corn farmers needed bailed out...circa..what...2005 and then we started getting the junk fuel...why...why aren't we pushing back on going back to the old stuff??

The only places that sell ethanol free is 93 octane and not a top tier station where I live. Will that be OK as well?

here in Kansas there is shady but popular chain called Jump Start selling there super premium gas a little cheaper than standard 10% gas. everyone thinks it is a great deal but it's 30% ethanol. which they don't disclose.

E85 has 100-105 octane so its good for high compression but you will need a different carb with huge jets to run it or injectors that will push enough fuel. Its better than paying $10/gallon for race fuel

There is no specifying what you mean by ethenol free. Either it has ethenol or not

You are correct here. I run e85 in my Supercharged vehicle. it's fantastic for performance but terrible mileage.
