I think people should need a license to have kids. So many people have kids just because they want them and then are embarrassingly incapable of doing basic parent things

who also don’t read to their children , teach , help them learn , cooking for them , feeding them , bathed , & ! & discipline! that dont mean u have to punish ! it’s all abt teaching them how to be a good human ! manners , responsibility, respect ! they have kids for esthetic and money , the. it’s get out my face and here the tablet ….. so they can be in their phones all day….

Do you have kids? I’m almost 3 weeks postpartum and my baby girl is at grandmas because I have strep (contagious btw) and this is the first time since having her I’ve been able to actually clean… I’d rather spend all the time with my baby than care about a few dishes that can be done whenever

Agree but in the way that there should be more help and resources available for struggling parents. Coming from a mom who struggled with severe post partum depression and PTSD after giving birth to a sleeping baby while I still had 2 other children at home to take care of. I couldn't clean, I fed them whatever food I could just hand to them, I couldn't play with them, we laid in bed and watched tv all day every day. It was the best I could do for them at the time with no help. But if you don't think I deserve to be a parent, then that's your opinion.
