I remember the 9-10 year of Martial law in the 1970’s-1980’s , and the political instability. The PNP was formed after 1990, I quit visiting or instructing in 1986. Private security was quite common.

The Phillipines uses people for every job. I got used to having someone open every door.. I even saw a security person on a ladder taking the place of where we would put a camera.
