It tests the effects of zero gravity on the brain, specifically, how well you can tell if stuff is upright or not! Which is really important for doing delicate experiments in space… You put your head in this hole and watch a screen with this little line on it. Every time it changes, you have to hit a button to say whether you think it’s vertical or tilted. It’s surprisingly hard! But this task is special... Experiments like this are giving us valuable data for a future where humans are living long term in space.
