All the comments saying have compassion, she’s elderly, has dementia, language barrier…is not a reason for anyone to have to tolerate some stranger touching and invading her personal space especially for 14 hours! Whoever booked her alone and knew her situation is at fault then. Also, Qatar is not a cheap ticket. She was nice long enough.

I had this experience too. I farted on them and they woke up with a quickness and shifted the other way towards HER SON. I’m like yea, that’s the way you should have been facing from the beginning of the flight, lean and lay on your son, not me 🤣

Wait no. I’ve had TWO experiences with women of this same ethnicity or heritage on TWO different flights. To the point where while on the plane, I cried. Left my flight feeling completely uneasy and drained. Something about this doesn’t feel right. Cleanse yourself and ground. Sounds crazy, but I think this is spiritual.
