Omg surveys!!! I forgot to say you should also book for a surveyor to go and check the property over and report any faults. Book this in once your offer is accepted. This is another cost too so I’d make sure the vendor has instructed a solicitor first so you know they’re serious about moving forward 💕💕

girl where were you 6 months ago 😭 also worth noting for UK girlies that Scotland is slightly different! the home report will tell you the valuation of the property you are interested in and you have to pay the difference between the valuation and your offer up front ON TOP of your deposit, as your mortgage only covers the valuation xxx

My question is and it’s probably going to sound soooooo silly… but how on earth does someone starting from scratch with for example £5000 deposit “Put in an offer” for a house. Surely I’d be laughed at for offering 5K🤣🤦🏼♀️I understand nothing about buying house so genuine none sarcastic feedback would be appreciated 🫶🏻

We put 50k over the asking price on 2 houses and we didn't get them because someone put more money, so if you really really really love the house, give the best offer you can 😅 the market is wild atm. Still no house after 5 months of looking 🙈
