What if they look at you before you get to 3. Do you reward when they look at you or do you still get to 3 then treat??

I wonder if this could be used for my dog’s backyard reactivity. We have a see thru fence and he’s only reactive in the yard when people/dogs walk by. We’re working on him not charging the fence to begin with. He comes to me after he already charges the fence. 😂

do you condition "three" first? so the pattern isn't "123" but they recognize that 3 is THEE number and 1,2 always lead to 3?

What if my dog doesn’t care for the treat because he is too excited on walk aka hunting lizards, bugs, etc ? Aka stubborn dachshund 👋🏻 He will litteraly just ignore me! 🙏🏻

So excited to start this! If I start with the clicker on 3, can I ever get rid of the clicker? Or should I just train without it? I won’t always have a clicker with me when I need to use the 123 game.

I do something similair! When my dog barks and runs at something or has focus too much on something he should we say “LOOK” and he runs to us and puts all his attention on us then we treat. Game changer for reactive dogs!

Can you make a video of exactly how you taught this my puppy sometimes decides he’s gonna lay on the floor when it’s time to get in the car or his crate and he’s a big puppy ) months 75lbs so I can’t just pick him up 😅😂
