I can’t believe people are blaming the husband in this case. I have 2 dogs and sometimes they would literally rather walk around and sniff things for 45 min than focus on going to the bathroom? Like it happens

The way he immediately tries to deflect the conversation to a whole other topic instead of come up with a solution. 🤨 When my mom was 💀, I still had to handle responsibilities like walking my dog and feeding my family.

It becomes her problem, this is the issue. The dog didn’t go so now she’s got to deal with it later as well we everything else.

He is in the wrong…he needs to be patient & try. Otherwise the dog may go in the house! Of course, there are bigger concerns (like their friend) but small parts matter to.

I think this situation is more of a metafor, it’s that he isn’t putting the effort in, doing the bare minimum to attempt to get the dog to go, then it rolls over the task for someone else to do. It’s the same for other tasks in a marriage, if one person just does the bare minimum and doesn’t try and get tasks done and help, the other person then has to shoulder both the mental and physical load

I actually, really love this couple but in this particular instance, he’s only walking the dog to say he tried to help not to actually help because if you cared about the dog, you would keep walking the dog until it went to the bathroom

It’s different priorities for different people becoming a bigger problem because neither person can discuss a solution. One person cares heavily and the other just doesn’t.
