i dont know if she's self published but please please read the gael song series by shawna lawless. book 1 Children of Gods and Fighting Men us her debut. it's a historical fantasy set in first milenia ireland using real historical figures but adding irish mythology magic systems an folkore. viking invaders and fomrians on one side, irish high kings an tuatha de dannan on another. my fave books of all time. guaranteed 6/5 rating
