there are so many tropical fruits that has a fantastic taste, but once picked will spoil in no time, so they're only eaten in the area they are grown. I wish they could ensure like bananas, so I could taste them in the Arctic...

You will need to put them in something to get them thru the luggage scanners at the airport or declare them and risk having them confiscated.

I got duped 1 time last year. I paid $60ish for a supposed 6 inch starter tree of that tree. After I got it and it grew another 6 inches and the leaves started getting bigger, I used Google lens AND posted on FB asking opinions. Turned out to be a random, invasive (for Florida) tree that is EVERYWHERE! We call them water trees and they are all over my property already and I chop them down every time they start to get some size to them. They always come back with a vengeance, and about 6 to the 1 that I destroyed.
