It’s interesting bc I feel like this is another one of those exclusivity clauses that evangelicals use, when Jesus said to the robber on the cross that he would be with him in heaven after the robber only said remember me. There was no qualifying step there, just a plea and belief. I’m not denying the validity of following after Christ’s example, just saying to be careful about who you’re disqualifying.

Acts 2:38 states that you have to baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost to enter into the kingdom of God.

The way that I’m interpreting this is that if someone were to say those words and assume that’s all that was needed to get into heaven, they would be listening to the devil and the devil is a lie! lol

John 3 : 3 & 5 = Romans 10 : 9 - 10 + Acts 2 : 38...then, repent of your sins so that atonement is made for them (Acts 3 : 19) by daily putting Romans 8 : 13 into effect and following the 10 Commandments. **Do this and you will have made JESUS your LORD**.

well our relationship with god dosent depend on the amount of sins we've done - ^we've all sinned which means our lives are heading to death (Ezekiel 18:4, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Hebrews 9:22) - the good news is based on what jesus christ did for our sins (levticus 17:11) as being our blood atonement (Isaiah 53:4-6) and its based on what he did for forgiveness of sins and by believing in jesus christ alone we are forgiven of all iniquity (Acts 13:38-39) and are given the holy spirit of promise and are reconciled to god (ephesians 1:13) - trust in jesus christ alone and you'll be saved, believe in his death and ressurection and that hes the messiah. (1 corinthians 15:1-4, 1 john 5:1) - dont worry about changing yourself its not about turning from sin, god changes us and he'll conform you and anyone to his sons image (1 Peter 1:14-15, romans 8:29)
