Save this One Pan Spicy Shrimp & Andouille Rice recipe ⬇️😙 I had a bunch of leftover shrimp that I couldn’t let go to waste, so I had to make a one pan spicy shrimp and andouille sausage rice dish. Since the shrimp was previously prepared, you can use that recipe (from my last video), or you can sear the shrimp in the pan after searing the andouille sausage. Just season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika and cook on each side until pink. Totally up to you! Ingredients: Roasted garlic olive oil 10 oz Ekrich andouille sausage 1 tbsp salted butter 1 red bell pepper, chopped 1 shallot, chopped Salt, to taste Pepper, to taste 2 tbsp fresh minced garlic 1¼ cups jasmine rice ½ tsp Italian seasoning ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp celery seeds ½ tsp smoked paprika Cayenne pepper, to taste 2 ¾ cups chicken broth 1 handful fresh spinach 1 cup heavy cream 1 lb shrimp Italian herbs, for garnish Instructions: 1. On medium-high heat, drizzle roasted garlic olive oil into a medium-sized pan, then sear the andouille sausage on both sides until browned. 2. Remove the sausage and reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and, once melted, add the chopped red bell pepper and shallot. Sauté for 3 minutes. 3. Add the garlic and sauté for an additional minute, stirring frequently to prevent burning. 4. Add the jasmine rice and stir to combine. Add the salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, celery seeds, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and chicken broth. Stir, then cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes. 5. Remove the lid and add the spinach, stirring until wilted. 6. Pour in the heavy cream, then add the andouille sausage and shrimp.
