Nobody understands Tommy’s character. He’s running from his problems and continues to fight a war within his heart and soul. A person like that is bound to crash hard. Hence why he lost in the end. He’s a nuke. Once he’s dropped, he goes flying towards the ground, but ultimately he explodes before making impact. It never makes its destination before exploding.
