Classic American Roasted Potatoes Recipe: Ingredients: 4 medium potatoes, 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, fresh rosemary, chopped parsley, 2 tablespoons butter, and optional toppings such as Parmesan cheese, sour cream, or crispy bacon bits. Instructions: Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into evenly sized cubes or wedges, leaving the skins on. Rinse briefly to remove excess starch, then pat dry with paper towels. Place the potatoes in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and rosemary until evenly coated. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each piece. Roast for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Remove from the oven and toss with butter while still hot, allowing it to melt and coat the potatoes evenly. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor. Serve warm with sour cream, crispy bacon bits, or your favorite dipping sauce. These delicious roasted potatoes have a beautifully golden, crispy exterior, a fluffy interior, and a rich garlic and herb aroma, making them a perfect side dish for breakfast, dinner, or family gatherings.
