@stealth_health_life: Frozen Meal Prep 101 🥶🍕 When I first started meal prepping - I took the typical approach. I’d prep meals in Tupperware containers for the week ahead - and store in the fridge. The problem was the same every time - I’d be motivated to meal prep on the weekend, but by day 2… the last thing I wanted to do was eat a meal prep. The monotony was unbearable. The meal preps would sit in my fridge until too much time had passed - and they’d go to waste. The problem was two-fold: 1.) The “time pressure” of needing to eat all my meal preps within a single week window had a reverse effect - since I had to eat them within a couple days, I wanted to eat them less. This is a very common experience with meal prepping. Yes, you could just force them down - but as someone who loves food, this was counterproductive to an enjoyable life. It felt unnecessary. 2.) They tasted worse every day. After 2-3 days - the flavor and quality degradation was very noticeable. Once again, this discouraged me from actually eating my prepped meals. Frozen meal prep solved both of these issues. 1.) There is no time pressure. If you meal prep one day, and decide the next you want something else - that’s fine. They will stay good for months. 2.) Freezing food dramatically slows the degradation process. In my experience, there is virtually no detectable difference between food that has been frozen for 8 hours vs. food that has been frozen for 4 weeks. Food stored frozen for a month tastes more “fresh” than food stored in the fridge for 2-3 days. Here are my reheat methods for both handhelds (like pan pizzas or burritos) and meals (like pasta or rice dishes): Handhelds: - Remove from freezer - Microwave for 2-3 minutes to thaw - Air fry at ~375-400 for 3-4 minutes, or until crispy Meals: - Cover and microwave for ~3 minutes - Remove, add a splash of milk or water, mix - Cover and microwave another 2-3 minutes until cooked through If you want recipe ideas, I have two meal prep focused cookbooks with 100’s of recipes designed to be prepped and stored frozen. Do you slightly undercook the meals to make up for the reheating 'cooking'? I'm figuring out if that's the problem I might have with frozen meals.

Tip for pizza: just reheat it straight from frozen on a low flame in a pan with a lid. It’ll give you a really nice crispy bottom 🤤
