girl everything has its own timing and the timing is different for every person! don’t feel pressured by society! I was pressured in highschool to have a relationship because everyone was dating and ppl kept “making fun” of me being single and I used to be crying to my granpa(he is my best friend) all the time, but he always said “everything has its own timing” and i live by that. he was right. then I meet a man at 19 and we are getting married

girl I relate so much, once I got out of my 5 year relationship my life feels a little behind, i’m single as ever, gonna get another masters, and just really still figuring out life😭 I also see the announcements on facebook and i’m just like ugh but then I remember everything is gonna happen in my own time and who knows maybe i’m meant to be single forever😂

I totally get this! I am married and have my career, but I still get questions about when I’m buying a house, when I’m having kids, etc. I’ve just accepted that it really will never stop! It is definitely a society pressure to reach the “big milestones” but really those milestones is what YOU make it!

I’ve experienced this before and here’s what helped me. Step 1 was moving out of my hometown- it changed my mindset, routine, life, everything. And it got me out of that stuck feeling! Another thing that helped was creating a vision board with my goals. It’s super motivating and looking back at the end of the year you realize how much you’ve accomplished :))

getting pregnant at 19 was not in my plan but it’s become such a blessing. At first, i felt so behind, especially since i’m in college. having to take a semester off was rough and i felt so behind but i just reminded myself God has. a plan and everything will work out for me! You got this girl and don’t worry about “being” behind because you’re right where you need to be! 💓
