⚠️ Scanned on the Exposr app⚠️ Nearly 30,000 pounds of raw beef from Argentina just entered the US food supply without a single inspection. Corte Argentino USA shipped 29,628 pounds of boneless beef — top sirloin, eye round, knuckle — directly to stores, restaurants, hotels, and catering companies across Florida and Texas. The USDA never inspected it. Federal law requires every pound of imported meat to undergo reinspection before it reaches the public. This shipment skipped it entirely. Nobody caught it until a routine check weeks later. The USDA classified it as Class I — the highest risk level, meaning "reasonable probability of serious adverse health consequences." The beef was produced between May 15 and May 20 and has been sitting in fridges and freezers across two states ever since. The company's website boasts that they supply "some of the most exclusive restaurants, hotels, and catering companies" in America. That means this uninspected meat may have already been served at high-end establishments to customers who had no idea it bypassed every safety check the USDA requires. This isn't the first time imported beef has entered the US without inspection. It keeps happening because the system only catches it after the meat is already distributed and sold. By the time the recall is issued — you may have already eaten it. Scanned on the Exposr app
