@teacherkindofcrazy: 🎥 POV: You just wanted to learn to cook — but ended up tossing rotten meat instead. 🍗🚫 I signed up for Hello Fresh because I wanted to build confidence in the kitchen — learning to cook with fresh, quality ingredients & finding meals my daughter and I could enjoy together. But when my “free” box showed up? 🤢 Rotten, leaking meat. Smashed chicken that smelled awful. Packaging a mess. And hardly enough food for one person — let alone three. I even paid extra for more meat, and added meals we were genuinely excited about (like grilled cheese + tomato soup + maple pork). But everything was either spoiled or off-putting. This wasn’t just disappointing — it was unacceptable. And for a service that claims to help people grow as home cooks… I feel totally let down. I wanted more than convenience. I wanted to enjoy the process and learn. Instead, I ended up wasting money and running to the store to replace everything. If you’re going to ship perishable food cross-country without dry ice… you have to do better. I’ve never had these issues with Butcher Box. 🤷 The final product? I had to go buy all new ingredients to follow the recipe card. My daughter nearly threw up at the first bite. 😕 @HelloFresh US @HelloFresh #mealprep #mealideas #meals
