It’s like Catholics also say that life is suffering but nobody says that Christianity is pessimistic it’s kind of odd that they put that burden on Buddhism

So, how does that apply to terminal cancer, childhood starvation, emotional neglect, and trauma from abuse?

Buddha claimed that the tears you have shed over many incarnations is more than all the oceans! That puts dukkha on an amost horrifying level!

Life is full or trials & tribulations. But count it all joy that these trials & tribulations builds one up making u stronger & more mature. Throughout all live experiences, & situations be it joy/success, God is with us & taking care of us and all things work for the good for all who look to & depend on & love God. When we look back to a painful past we can see it was for our good. May God bless all.

The sun comes up. The sun goes down. Nothing is static and sometimes we “ win” and sometimes we “lose”. Lord Buddha knew the truth of these two states , that they are the two sides of a coin , one side being clinging to the good and one side our aversion to the “bad”. This coin always leaves us unfulfilled. Thankfully this is explained in the 2nd noble truth. Then to help us understand the path possible, Lord Buddha lets us know in the 3rd Noble Truth that we can transcend this trouble to reach deep Peace beyond winning or losing, good or bad.

Life is not good. Life is balanced. It’s suffering and joy together, and you cannot experience one without the other ☯️accepting the dualistic nature of life is the gateway to nirvana (peace)

Buddha's teaching is not so much about 'Suffering', as it is the Escape from Suffering. Suffering is largely caused by Attachment. Change may be felt as Suffering, because something we were attached to changes or disappears. Non-Attachment is the Key to overcome Suffering ... just WATCHING the ever changing World as if from a great distance rather than getting physically or emotionally closely involved. One could choose, for example, to board a roller coaster ride or just watch it unattached from afar. The experience in both those Settings is different, of course. ❤️
