Just a little FYI sis, if your grandfather is from the Torres Strait, that means you’re Torres Strait Islander rather than Aboriginal. I know a lot of people don’t realise there’s a difference, but it’s an important one in our Blak community. Also, we don’t do percentages that only creates shame and stigma and can cause more harm. No matter how much milk you add, coffee’s still coffee 🖤

This girl has never gotten on here and claimed she’s experienced the struggles of a blak person she is simply stating that she IS INFACT of aboriginal descent, and she won’t stand for anyone telling her she isn’t. The stolen generations is a VERY real and scary piece of history which is why a lot of aboriginals have lighter skin and/or are also of white descent.
