It's the OEM cap from my old house. I'm reposting to clarify it's not real. The colored plastic ring around the terminals is a dead giveaway for any true techs. I had no idea it would get millions of views when I first posted it.

always call the manufacturer 1st. most are covered for 10yrs, then they send a local technician u just pay for labor not parts. parts are covered.

I used to do hvac back when I was young wish I would’ve stayed. This is why I enjoy your videos. My neighbor had parked in my spot and didn’t want to move. Coooooll. When out in the backyard. We didn’t have fences yet. Took the disconnect out and put it in my glove.

I am a hvac technician and you legally can't do that. Once you wire it in it becomes a part of the real-estate. I was actually put in cuffs. Had a choice to put it back or go to jail for theft. It's not right but that's the law in Texas.
