I miss Tremont so much but I’m so grateful for the Milestone. It’s home, a safe space for all. I’ve been going there for 20 years and I love seeing the next generation still appreciate the venue.

Tremont Music Hall...Penny was so great to so many of us in bands! We were based out of Wilmington and there were no all ages venues by the late 90s

Seeing @Fall Out Boy at The Downtown in 2003? 2004? takes the 🎂 as the coolest show I was able to catch because the show was all ages!

Tbh a lot of the 18+ is specified by who is booking and not necessarily the venue. But I started to go to shows at 13 in Charlotte and it was formative. 20+ years later I don’t always look to see if it’s all ages or not. If the kids aren’t able to get into the scene these days and really enjoy it, something has to change. They’re the future. I can’t be doing 9 pm start times in another 20 years, I need them 😂
