Sometimes people confuse the hemlock with Queen Anne's Lace (Wild Carrot), Fool’s Parsley (Aethusa cynapium) Very similar: It’s actually toxic too, but not as dangerous as poison hemlock. Parsley, Carrots, and Parsnips (when growing wild) Looks similar in early stages: when growing in the wild or as weeds, edible carrots and parsley can resemble young poison hemlock. Danger: Foragers can easily mistake them if they’re not experienced. It grows on my property and I'm always taking it out by the roots. Please be careful.
