Barely enough for rent??? Huh. Even when I was 18/19 working my first help desk jobs and even phone support for a cable company I made plenty to cover rent and bills and an ounce of gassy flower a week. It was just gravy as I advanced and made it to middle and senior mgmt. Not every job sucks....

I work remotely at an MSP as an L2 help desk agent. God, the morning tickets being a pile is already accurate. I hate coming in on a Monday to a pile of L1 tickets and so many people calling out. I’m almost three years in my company, but I really need to leave asap. I know pastures aren’t always greener on the other side, but I’ll gladly take an internal help desk job even if it’s a drive or hybrid.
