when we take our nanny, we agree on a flat daily fee and make sure all expenses as far as flight and accommodations are taken care of. She has her own accommodations and set hours so she’s not on the clock 24/7. She’s doesn’t pay for food or transportation. Her only expenses are if she wants to go shopping or something in her personal time. We usually give a little extra cash stipend for free time. Going cheap on someone caring for your child is incomprehensible.

i never go unless all expenses are paid and i’m getting paid the full time that i’m there (including nights). NEVER let them take you out of state without getting paid more than your regular hours.

I went to Jamaica with a family with 3 kids. They paid for my entire trip-literally everything except items I wanted to purchase. And still got paid for keeping the kids and helping in the airport!

Nanny family should cover all travel expense’s and food during working hours. Your normal hourly wage for all working hours and a flat rate for sleeping if you’re responsible for the kids over night.

We are bringing our sitter(we are paying for a friend to come with so on her off time she has someone to spend time with) all expenses paid for except shopping etc like that. Hope this helps!

we pay for the travel & her hotel room, an hourly rate from 8am to 8pm and a flat fee for overnight 8pm to 8am, meals, and any activities where her/the kids are coming. i’m not nickel and diming anyone when it comes to my kids.

All my expenses paid (on and off the clock). $150/night fee. Your hourly rate applies for all hours you are on the clock and unable to go about freely. You should have your own room unless you are being paid hourly 24/7. Overtime pay after 40hrs

they should pay your hourly rate while you are actively working with the kids. and also pay all necessary expenses (lodging, food, activities), plus an overnight fee for being away from home.
