I think it’s for people like me who only buy matcha in Japan or kitchen ware, or beauty products. I literally save all year for yearly trip so I can buy high quality items for far less than I would pay here in the USA. You have so much discipline to spend zero tho😭 I strive to be like this one day

fr I think a good rule is if you saw it at your hometown mall, would you buy it there? Also, can you envision a place in your home where you'd put the object? If it's a no to either of those DON'T BUY IT!! I really over shopped my first time there

Im planning a trip and I’m not planning much on shopping! I think it’s insane! I may shop around for little cute things ceramics maybe some clothes or a cream but why spent 9000$!?!? For that money you can take 3 vacations maybe even 4 if you go to Thailand.

i allowed myself one day to shop bc japan has a lot kawaii stuff that match my vibe but my fav things I brought back were the spices, matcha/tea and snacks hehe. they either way more expensive or harder to find here!

I am here atm and my 5 year old has enjoyed the hello kitty merch and winning toys at the arcade machines with her dad 🥰 I have purchased some beauty products (mainly gifts for others and some fridge magnets for my mum) and some chop sticks as gifts. But overall I would say in Australia where we live I can get whatever I need there 💕🥰
