As someone who’s had both for many years I think Samsung will always be better in terms of OS and stand alone features but as an ecosystem apple has one of the best ones

I have the galaxy watch ultra and I love it. I've used so many different watches including thr apple watch ultra but I prefer my galaxy watch ultra over everything.

I used to be fully immersed in the Samsung ecosystem, I have the galaxy watch, Tab S7+, Galaxy S21 Ultra (upgraded to a fold 4), galaxy buds etc, transferred to the Apple ecosystem with a iPhone 15PM, Apple Watch Series 8, iPad 12.9 Pro, AirPods, and never looked back. It’s so seamless and easy to use. I will say that both OS’s are great in their own ways, and it’s okay for someone to have preferences.
