Consistency is absolutely my kryptonite. With adhd I struggle a lot with it because I’m distracted or zoned in on something else, or end of day completely forget when I need to email parents about a behavior. going to work really hard this year to really lay out my routines and expectations from day 1 and do my best to be more consistent.

How about consequences for K-5 music teachers who only see their kids for 25 mins? I have used the seat change several times. I’d love to do the parent phone call in the middle of class, but I don’t want to embarrass the kid in front of the entire class. What does individual work look like when I mainly teach whole group lessons? Would a think sheet in the back of the room be appropriate?
