Dollar general ASM here, we do not get trained decently. Training costs money and everyone knows dollar general pinches every penny they can.

As a DG employee, I actually put in work and give it my all. It may not be the best job on the planet, but I’m thankful I have a job. My coworkers and manager actually know the policy. Literally stacked a manufacturer coupon and store coupon today. At my store, we actually get trained.

dg manager here... they never trained us on the coupon policy... As a manager we're not mad that you have coupons.. we get mad that th customers don't read the coupons in their entirety... PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU COME TO THE REGISTER. (IM IN FLORIDA)

I went today and tried the P&G 10 dollar deal. Had over 31 dollars in products as the rules said. I never got the 10 for my next purchase as the deal was listed as. So I returned everything and left. Nope..... if you can't honor what YOU advertise I have no use for your products.

my question is how do they know what you're trying to do ? they DO NOT have control over coupons at a store level. so if you go up enter your number. they come off and thats it. do people really tell them what they are trying to do, to get refused ???

Since always. almost every coupon says just that on the fine print... that we ARENT allowed to stack them and it IS fraud and it IS our job if we honor it.

While you can stack store and manufacture coupons you can’t stack store coupons for the same items. Like gain $2 off and gain $5 off. It will only apply one and honestly no telling which one it will apply
