(I lost count how many times I died; forced me to think about everything I was doing) Work has tried to break me. Setbacks. Unforseen challenges. Exasperation when I try to relax after a long week. All of it went toward one of my more satisfying gym sessions in a while! All this while I spent every setback on my game staying mentally and emotionally aware so I did not do anything I would regret; even praying the Rosary on purpose knowing the peace it offers. Today... is a good day. And I can say I feel more at home in my own skin more than I have in a long time! P.S. This audio hits home for me, because I feel both sides tug at me. I once wanted an end to how much pain I felt, only because I remember life without so much of it. Now, the simple command I feel every day is to live. Just that. I do not believe I'm great, or anything other than what I choose to be, but living demands I step up whenever the occasion demands it. The only more soul wrenching moment for me in 40k is Scythes of the Emperor. Reading and hearing an astartes breakfown in a gut wrenching wail and openly cry as he falls to his knees infront of mortal attendances who are desperately trying to lift him to his feet at the news of their lost homeworld and chapter just hit hard that day.
