I had this idea today, but I’ve had like a weird obsession with connect 4 since I was little, to the point where I would compete in school wide competitions(I never lost), all because of the “strategy” that’s required. Despite that, I’m terrible at chess and genuinely despise the game. Idk I fell like there’s something interesting there😭

only a rising junior, but i’m honestly starting to think about my essay for the future. i kind of wanted to write about how my mom having a stroke and becoming permanently disabled early on in my childhood lead to me having to teach her the basics such as the abc’s and counting when i was just learning them myself made me realize that leadership doesn’t mean having to be better than someone else. does that sound interesting at all or capable of becoming a good essay?

i wrote mine about oatmeal raisin cookies essay which is a personal reflection on how a small routine my grandmother giving me a very specific oatmeal raisin cookies that i didn’t know what brand they were until fresh man heat but it became a powerful symbol of love, time, and regret. It shows how her absence taught me to live more intentionally, take action, and appreciate the quiet moments that shape who we are.
