People fron 🇬🇹 are called Guatemalans. People from 🇨🇦 are called Canadians. People from 🇲🇽 are called Mexicans. People from 🇺🇸 are called Americans. Sometimes people don’t understand that, it’s just the way they are called, but also some Americans strongly believe that America is only the US, I personally DON’T feel offended, it’s totally fine 😉😉😉

Even me as a Guatemalan when I speak Spanish to them they don’t believe me and say I’m not from there lol! Hotel staff once said: “No mientas no sos de aquí sos muy alto” lol “Stop lying you’re not from here” first generation Guatemalan here 🤣✌️

I LOVE That you remark that because yes, people really Make an effort to make tourist's feel comfortable. But there's a bad side and is when LatinAmericans go to USA they look at them as if they where trash and don't make any effort to understand them . But is very good that you appreciate that 🫶
