The International Criminal Court literally has been keeping an accountability archive under South Africa’s case! They need to worry about that!

I love that it exists, I immediately thought after November that we will need a place offshore to send documentation of what goes on here to be preserved. My only ask is that archives like this should be intersectional. We should archive triple k parades and Your body my ch... just the same.

thank you! I've tried mentioning this bc it seems like most folks have completely misunderstood that. it's been active since 2023, & it's a crowdsourced project, too, so that's what people have meant when talking about submitting things to the archive. but somehow that all got conflated w/ madi's personal archival efforts after she mentioned having a dedicated flashdrive for what she saves related to the gc1de. (I almost feel like I originally found out about it from something you had shared back in '23 or '24, but I could be remembering wrong)

I immediately started saving and taking screenshots b/c, aside from knowing the history of how the West protects Isr*el, I’m an elder millennial and I remember clearly the hard pivot politicians, the media, and Hollywood made from supporting the Afghanistan and Iraq invasions (&portrayal of Arab and Muslim ppl) to pretending they were always against it as soon as the invasions became unpopular and when Dems started campaigning for the ‘08 elections.

As someone who works in PR, what @_madiswan_ is doing sounds a lot like something we call ‘social listening.’ I do it all the time for the clients I work for, both generally and I also do targeted social listening regarding a specific topic, like current events or a news story.
