The judge didn’t listen to anything. If he’s getting the child half of the week…idk seems like a better decision could have been made

Dude you in the wrong court ! Get a lawyer and go to family court! You went to court unprepared!!!!!! Child support doesn’t care abt any agreements you and your ex has ! They could care less!!!! Never go to court without a lawyer! Never , never.

he got that order because she has primary care and control with joint custody. if he has primary care and control she would be paying. if they had joint care and control neither would pay. he has to file for that. please stop going to court without a lawyer. you are not a legal professional

You always have to get legal representation in order to truly be heard. They used his testimony against him. You have to provide a legal reasoning for your disagreement.

the judge behavior while the father was speaking says she was not interested I would advised him to file to be the conservator as he has the child so that works in his favor

I think a lot of women start relationships with good intentions and slowly find themselves carrying responsibilities that were never theirs to begin with. At first it feels like helping. Then it becomes a habit. Before they know it, they're exhausted, frustrated, and wondering why the relationship feels so one-sided. If you've ever found yourself feeling more like a man's mother, life coach, or personal assistant than his partner, this post is for you. --- 1️⃣ DON'T MOTHER HIM There's nothing wrong with supporting a man. There's nothing wrong with encouraging him. But there's a huge difference between supporting a grown man and becoming responsible for him. I've seen women reminding men to book appointments, updating their resumes, chasing them about job applications, managing their schedules, solving problems they should be solving themselves, and even helping them regulate emotions they refuse to deal with. At some point, you stop being a partner and start becoming a caretaker. The problem is that when you constantly step in and do things a capable adult should be doing for himself, you remove the need for him to step up. Why would he become more responsible when someone else is already carrying the responsibility for him? One thing I've noticed is that many women think they're helping a man grow when they're actually making it easier for him to stay exactly as he is. --- 2️⃣ DON'T CHASE HIM WHEN HE PULLS AWAY One of the biggest mistakes women make is assuming that if a man becomes distant, their job is to close the distance. Suddenly they're sending more texts, checking in more often, initiating every conversation, and trying to figure out what happened. The problem is that when you're always the one keeping the connection alive, you never get to see what he would do if you stopped. A man who genuinely wants to be in your life doesn't need to be convinced to communicate with you. He doesn't need constant reminders that you exist. I'm not saying you can't check in on someone. That's normal. What I'm saying is that if you're always the one reaching out, always the one initiating, and always the one trying to reconnect after he pulls away, you're no longer observing his level of interest. You're compensating for his lack of effort. And that's a dangerous place to be because it can keep you attached to a relationship that only exists because you're carrying it. --- 3️⃣ DON'T ABANDON YOUR BOUNDARIES TO KEEP HIM I've noticed that many women don't lose themselves all at once. It happens gradually. The thing they swore they'd never tolerate becomes something they tolerate regularly. The standard they once had becomes something they quietly lower. The boundary they were proud of suddenly becomes negotiable because they don't want to lose the relationship. The problem is that every time you abandon a boundary to keep someone around, you send yourself a message that your needs matter less than their presence. Healthy relationships require compromise, but compromise and self-abandonment are not the same thing. If keeping a man requires you to constantly betray yourself, ignore your instincts, or accept treatment that makes you unhappy, the relationship is costing more than it's giving. --- One thing I've learned is that the healthiest relationships happen when two adults show up as partners. Not when one person becomes the parent. Not when one person does all the chasing. And not when one person keeps sacrificing their standards to keep the other happy. Those dynamics don't create healthy relationships. They create resentment. --- Which of these mistakes do you think women struggle with the most?
