I try so hard not to laugh when confident dogs find something that send them into orbit 😂😭. Poor guy the shell probably bit him 😂

From a trauma perspective this is an excellent example of getting needs met in the moment. If someone had yelled at him while he was scared, he wouldn’t have shaken off the tension - then that kind of shell would still be scary. Instead there was patience and calm presence. Then the positive reinforcement at the end - beautiful.
