alh,i have one,destroyed 5 vw turbos,run 20 km with oil pan broke without oil and didn't know,tuned to 250hp,I fitted gt20 turbo with wastegate from mercedes(no more turbo broke)also runned sunflower oil just for fun and abusing at cold and warm didn't matter i broke 4 gearbox and now porting cylinder head upgrade camshaft and planning for twin turbo it to get above 350 hp,engine still good👍

a lot of cars can run without the oil pan and in some cases valve covers too but with no oil not for long
