We have made an enemy out of the actual people that sustain this country, and in the meantime ignored the actual enemy which is the people in charge who have stripped mental healthcare for everyone including our service members and how to gun lobbyists. It is shameful.

I live here. it never made the news but my ex's cousin was a vet here as well and shot himself at a traffic stop last year. He held his girlfriend at gunpoint years before. mental health is severely poor here

It's absolutely devastating how so many news outlets are making this guy seem like some "no good criminal.", by no means am I justifying behavior or actions, but I've seen far too many news outlets leave out that he's a Veteran and has mental health issues. This man needs help..and just because he's hurt and has hurt people doesn't mean he should be treated any less of a human being..

So the government causes these people severe mental health problems, and then the general public just have to pray wherever they go isn’t the place and time that person decides to shoot the place up. Nothing is done about gun control and our leaders continue to fail us all.

Montana has the WORST mental health care and if anything good can come from this tragedy I hope people start paying attention to how awful we treat ppl with mental disorders in this state and the amount of renovation our mental health system NEEDS here. Don’t give me all the bs about how we voted for this, it’s been like this even when we still had democrats in our gov. It wasn’t any different, the whole state would have to come together on either side to fix this issue, and I’m hoping this at least draws attention to it.

So much senseless shootings would have been avoided if there was gun control!!! Just like any other country, the US is filled with crazy people that appear to look normal, and even worse they always seem to be given low or no sentence at all due to pleading not guilty by reason of insanity
