@crmnallyobsessed: A man found guilty of murdering his wife has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole. In June of 2023, Elsie Wiggington went missing in Amherst County, VA. A year later, her body would be discovered in a concrete slab on property owned by Elsie and her husband, Fred Wiggington. Fred was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, a charge for concealing a dead body. In May of 2025, he was found guilty of those charges and given a life sentence. However, despite getting the result they wanted, Elsie’s family are upset at the idea of Fred possibly being paroled in the future. Mary Jordan, Elsie’s sister, stated "that is a monster that does not deserve freedom.” Wiggington's attorney said he still maintains his innocence. #murder #truecrime
